Two Historic UK Hotels Upgrade to Opendoor Lock System for Best Western Onboarding
Two well-known UK hotels Kings Court Hotel in Alcester and Ringwood Hall Hotel in Chesterfield have recently completed the installation of the Opendoor lock system as part of their onboarding process to join Best Western Hotels & Resorts.
The upgrades were carried out to meet Best Western’s brand standards, ensuring both properties have the modern access control technology required to operate within the global hotel network while continuing to deliver excellent guest experiences.
Kings Court Hotel, Alcester
Located in the Warwickshire countryside, Kings Court Hotel is a popular destination for leisure stays, weddings, and events. As part of its onboarding into Best Western, the hotel installed the Opendoor locking system throughout the property.
The new system modernises the hotel’s access control infrastructure, providing improved security, simplified key management, and a more efficient experience for both staff and guests helping the hotel align with Best Western’s operational requirements.
Ringwood Hall Hotel, Chesterfield
Ringwood Hall Hotel, a stunning 19th-century manor house set within six acres of landscaped gardens on the edge of the Peak District, has also completed the installation of the Opendoo lock system as part of its transition into the Best Western brand.
By implementing the system, the hotel now benefits from a reliable and scalable locking solution that supports both guest convenience and day-to-day operations, while ensuring compliance with Best Western’s technology standards
